CREATING CEREMONY with Glennie Kindred There is a growing need within our society to share universal spirituality, and to mark and honour the life changing moments in our lives in a fresh and unique way. In this workshop Glennie encourages us to empower ourselves to create ceremony from our own hearts without hierarchy or too much preplanning and to make heartfelt connection through our own intuitive responses. The workshop also encourages us to create personal ceremony that touches our deepest understanding of our own unique and unfolding sense of the sacred, within ourselves, with the land and as conscious participants in world change
The workshop includes any of the following aspects and can be developed for one to one sessions or group work:
Creating and holding sacred space, developing Unity Consciousness. Working with intention, focus and vision; meditation; visualization; shamanic journeys; pathworking; developing conscious choice and awareness; the power of now; acting on spontaneous whims of the imagination, our creativity and our intuition. The energetic and transformative qualities and uses of the 5 Elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit. Personal ceremony, daily rituals and daily meditations. Ceremonies for the cycle of the Earth’s Year and the 8 Celtic festivals. Moon cycle ceremonies; ceremonies for world healing and Peace, sweat lodge ceremonies. Honouring life’s special moments and rites of passage: births, blessingways, handfasting, joinings, separations, funerals, menopause, creating change, cutting the ties that bind. Using sound, toning, song, dance and percussion for transformation and healing. Making sacred circles, medicine wheels, shrines, living tree circles, labyrinths, mandalas.
